UV PROTECTION
Constant exposure to sunlight can cause certain materials to become damaged or warped. PVC has an integral UV protection built into the design, this reduces the risk of premature wear and also helps reduce fading of furniture and paint. This protection also means PVC or plastic blinds can trap solar heat and keep a room warmer during colder months.
LIGHTWEIGHT
PVC is an incredibly lightweight option. If your walls are unable to withstand excessive weight or if you want to install them on your own, installing a light-colored louver curtain can make this process much easier.

The manufacture of PVC requires very little carbon emissions due to more than 50% of its composition being made up of chlorine and derived from salt.
